FAMILY FRIENDLY TRAILS
Perfect for Beginners
The multi user trails found within Fitzwilliam Country Park offer the perfect place for young or less confident riders to gain confidence riding off road. The short loop is approximately 1 mile in length and offers a fairly flat trail that can be ridden in either direction. There is the option to add in other trails to make a slightly longer route, with the addition of some more challenging terrain.
ROUTES IN THE PARK
To help those visiting the park for the first time we have mapped some routes using the Kamoot app. There is a brief description of the route, a .gpx file for the route can be downloaded by clicking on the map.

We use the following as the starting point for our routes:

Please note: most tracks found in the park can hold water following rain, and width is often less than tracks found in other parks.
ROUTE 1
1.22 km - gradual incline and decent
Starting at the gate opposite the car park (by the map on the stone), this route follows the shorter path around the park. there is one junction on the route, a right turn at the far end of the park.

Narrow track in places, can have the odd puddle after rain, all inclines and decents are gradual.
ROUTE 1 A
1.65 km - steeper incline and decent
Starting at the gate opposite the car park (by the map on the stone), this route follows the shorter path around the park. there is one junction on the route, a right turn at the far end of the park. The second junction is a sharp left turn followed by a short sharp climb. The track then drops down hill toward the pit pond, which is passed on the right as you return to the carpark area.
